Website Privacy Policy

This website, luwo.ai (the "Website"), is operated by LUWO, Inc., a Delaware corporation, 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, USA ("LUWO", "we", "us"). LUWO, Inc. is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy. Contact: hello@luwo.ai.

This Policy covers only the Website, including the demo request form. It does not cover the LUWO learning platform used by schools, teachers and students. Personal data on the platform is processed under the agreements between each school and LUWO's local licensee, and under the documents provided with those agreements.

When you request a demo, we collect the data you enter in the form: your full name, phone number, the name of your school and the country where it is located. We also record the language of the form, the date of your request and its ID number.

When you visit the Website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. We use it only to keep the Website running and secure.

Images and videos on the Website are delivered through UploadThing, which receives your IP address and browser data when they load. Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): Google receives data about you only when you start the video player, under Google's own privacy policy.

We use one functional cookie, lw_lang, to remember the language you chose. It is kept for 1 year. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, pixels or other trackers.

Please do not send us sensitive data, and do not send data about students or children through the form.

We use your data to respond to your demo request, arrange and run the demo, answer your questions, and follow up with you about using LUWO at your school or organization. If you ticked the separate box for news, we also send you occasional news about LUWO.

We contact you by phone, WhatsApp or Telegram using the phone number you provided, or by email if you write to us.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for purposes unrelated to your request.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and to take steps at your request before a possible agreement with your school or organization. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hello@luwo.ai. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

Your data is accessible only to LUWO staff and contractors who need it to handle your request. We share it with:

• Service providers that store or transmit data on our behalf: Fly.io (website hosting, Frankfurt, Germany); Neon on Amazon Web Services (database, Frankfurt, Germany); our CRM system (customer relationship management); Telegram (internal notifications to our team); UploadThing (delivery of images and video); Google (YouTube video player, only when you start it); and our email provider, when you write to us.
• LUWO affiliates and local partners in your country, such as LUWO KG LLC in Kyrgyzstan, when they conduct the demo or offer LUWO to your school.
• Authorities, when required by law.

LUWO is a US company with a team in several countries. Your form data is stored in Germany (website and database) and with our CRM and messaging providers, whose servers may be located in other countries. It may be accessed by LUWO, Inc. from the USA and from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries where our team or partners work. The level of data protection in these countries may differ from that in your country, and authorities there may have legal powers to access data. By submitting the form, you consent to this transfer. We protect your data as described in section 9 wherever it is processed.

We keep your data for 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first. We then delete or anonymize it in all of our systems, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. If your school signs an agreement with LUWO, your contact data may be kept for the term of that agreement.

The Website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the database, the CRM and our internal notification channels is restricted to authorized staff. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, receive a copy, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent. To use these rights, write to hello@luwo.ai. We reply within 30 days, or sooner if the law of your country requires. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

The Website is intended for adults: school administrators, teachers and other education professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through the Website. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. If changes are significant, we will also post a notice on the Website and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.

This Policy is available in English and Russian. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.
